Dear travellers Namaste,

Warmly welcome to the himalayan country of Nepal.
I am an independent trekking guide and tour organizer in Nepal. I was born and grown up in the village area near the Pokhara city, very close to Annapurna Himalayan range. In my childhood I was fascinated by the many foreigners passing through and nearby my village on route to the Annapurna region.  This sparked my interest in different cultures and combined with my love of nature to inspire me to work in tourism.
I started my career in trekking and tour organizing just after finishing school. In the meantime I also finished my studies. At first I was working for several trekking and tour companies as a guide and after three years I started working as an independent trekking guide with my base in Pokhara, Nepal. I obtained trekking guide license from the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, from the Nepal Government.

I have trekked with many people from different countries and have formed lasting relationships from these treks. Since the beginning of my career, I have become very familiar with many trekking destinations, mostly Annapurna Himalayan Range. Besides daytrips in and around Pokhara I even have led trekking groups up to 5600 meter from sea level and cross many high passes in Nepal, including Throng Pass, Tilicho Pass, Larkyepass, and many more.

Since I have been elected as executive member of trekking Agencies association of Nepal (TAAN) Western Regional Association pokhara in september 2016,  unfortunately I am not able to do all treks by myself anymore, I expanded my business and I am proud that a few very professional guides joined our Happy Treks Nepal team.

If you do not have much time but do want a true Himalay trekking experience, we can organize the perfect Daytrip! Pokhara and the Pokhara Valley offer many very nice options for daytrips, providing a true hiking experience, going through local villages and with stunning views over  the Annapurna Himalaya range.
If you are a trekker hoping to climb high passes and peaks, we can accommodate your needs with a challenging and rewarding adventure.

We all have extensive knowledge about cultural and environmental issues in the areas where we lead treks, and can offer you a challenging experience and memories that will last a lifetime. We can tell you all you need to know about history, religion, culture, ethnic group, cast system and many more. We all speak fluent English so there will be no communication problems.
There are many type of treks in Nepal, ranging from the relaxed easy one day or short trekking where you can experience Nepalese culture and country, side life to tea house trekking. All the treks offer spectacular scenery and a view point into Nepali culture. We can also organize the special home stay trip in Kaskikot which is near by Pokhara city. There you can see the spectacular scenery of Annapurna Himalayan Range, Fewa Lake and Pokhara Valley. And we can also organize a "trek to teach" which means a kind of trek where you can teach local people including children about the current situation, environment, games, English and many more.
